Since I am a private photographer, sessions are by appointment only. I only schedule a limited number of sessions each day so you are never rushed. However, I will do my best to accommodate your busy schedule. I have a home studio located in Puyallup, Washington. My studio offers a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you and your family. For outdoor sessions I can also recommend several locations in the Tacoma/Puyallup area. I will provide you with a completely personalized and unrushed photo session. A session normally lasts between 30-60 minutes, but if more time is needed we take more time. Sometimes a quick walk around the building for an infant or a cookie for a child is all that is needed to win their cooperation. This is your chance to preserve this day in their childhood forever.
Simple is best... well sometimes. It is important to think of what look you are trying to achieve. I love the classic look of simple white clothing but also enjoy the feel of bright vivid colors. I would avoid clothing with busy writing, logos or characters they can distract from your child. Solid colors look great, especially for large groups. I love children in bare feet! There is nothing cuter or more classic than bare feet.
Approximately 3-5 days after your session I will contact you with your password, so you and your family can review your proofs for 10 days. In your set of proofs you will see samples of some full color, some black and white, some color accented and some vintage. Also, if any cropping or a little touch up was needed that will already be done. Keep in mind that your photos are completely custom, so if any other editing is wanted we can do that. Also, if you see a picture in color and want it in color accented we can also make those changes. These are your memories so we can work together to make them perfect. Print order will be shipped 2-3 weeks from when the order was placed. Custom framing may take up to 4-6 weeks from when the order is placed.
Please note that your images will remain on file for 3 months from your session date. This allows you a period of time for reorders if you would like. Order placed after the 10 day review period will be subject to a 15 percent surcharge.
